What do we do?
We meet at 9am and gather in the courtyard where we can leave our bags safe and dry.
The day starts with a wellie walk around the farm whilst making sure all animals have ample food and water and check if any need more straw in their beds. We check the tractors too and the children love to pretend they are off to do important jobs on them!
A quick hand wash and snack then we gather our belongings and head into the woods where our central fire is lit if the ground is not too dry and we start exploring all there is to offer. Children and adults work hard together to build, discover and imagine. Activities are child-led and our role is to facilitate and ensure all children are joining in and having fun!

Lunch is eaten up in the forest, usually in dens we have built or around the fire. We work together to pack it all up and head back to the farm to enjoy a milkshake from The Milk Hut, check on the animals again and watch the start of the afternoon milking before heading home at 4pm.
